Junior Estimator – M&E (Electrical Bias)

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum plus benefits

Location: Bromley

We are seeking a Junior M&E Estimator with an electrical bias to join our client’s busy Project Division within a leading Building Services company. Based in Bromley,

this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a varied portfolio of projects, supporting the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions across mechanical and electrical building services, with a particular focus on electrical installations.

Key

Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience within the building services or M&E sector.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems and a general understanding of mechanical services, including HVAC and plumbing.
• Experience assisting with or preparing M&E cost estimates, material take-offs and tender returns.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Strong commercial awareness, numerical skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• HNC, HND or degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Experience working on commercial, residential and public sector projects.
• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software, procurement processes and tendering procedures
