Medior Financial Analyst – Logistics & Freight

Key Responsibilities
Freight Invoice Auditing
Review and validate freight invoices against contracts and agreed rates
Identify discrepancies, risks, and compliance issues
Ensure accurate documentation and timely resolution
Invoicing & Process Monitoring
Support automated and self-billing processes
Monitor data quality, system performance, and workflow efficiency
Maintain and update rate structures during RFQ cycles
Collaborate with IT to improve automation and data accuracy
Discrepancy Resolution
Investigate and resolve billing disputes with carriers and customers
Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements
Analysis & Reporting
Prepare reports on audit accuracy, billing performance, and KPIs
Analyze trends to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
Ensure compliance with financial controls and audit standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Control Tower teams
Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What You Bring
Skills & Expertise
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify risks
Experience in freight audit, invoicing, or logistics finance
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.G., Tableau)
Familiarity with TMS and freight audit platforms
Understanding of logistics contracts, SLAs, and cost structures
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, or Business Administration
Experience with cross-border shipping cost structures and root cause analysis
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
