Tax Specialist & Compliance Private Funds US/EU

As Senior Tax Counsel for our private funds practice, you will support front-office investment professionals on tax matters for private markets. You will collaborate with external firms and internal teams to shape tax strategy, ensure CRS/FATCA compliance, and monitor legislation. This role combines advisory, cross-border tax, and project leadership to optimize client service. You will help scale our tax offerings and train analysts and managers across the advisory team.

• Support front-office negotiations on tax issues for private-market investments (private equity, private credit, private property, private infrastructure)
• Present complex tax issues for investment portfolios in a clear, structured way
• Oversee tax services and optimize external adviser offerings
• Collaborate with external law firms and Controlling/IT teams on tax initiatives and system updates
• Monitor tax legislation and implement changes in collaboration with BI/IT
• Strengthen sustainability in client advisory by training investment analysts, product managers and sales managers
• Lead ad hoc projects as required
• Ensure CRS and FATCA compliance across EU/US tax matters

• Master’s degree in Law with specialization in international Tax
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or international law firm in banking or with fund managers
• In-depth knowledge of EU & US taxation and CRS & FATCA compliance
• Experience advising institutional and private investors on EU/US tax matters
• Strong analytical skills in legal and financial matters
