TeacherActive are recruiting Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisors to support a fantastic school in Llanelli.

We have built a strong relationship with the school and are proud to support them with their staffing needs.

The Role

Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences

Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure pupils remain engaged

Support pupils with their learning where appropriate

Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

Build strong relationships with pupils and school staff

Follow school policies and procedures

Provide reliable and consistent support to the school

Communicate confidently with pupils and staff through the medium of Welsh

What We're Looking For

✅ Welsh-speaking

✅ Experience working with children or young people

✅ Confident managing a classroom

✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills

✅ Reliable, professional and adaptable approach

✅ Ability to work independently and use initiative

✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
