The Opportunity

We are a single product company seeking a highly skilled Radar Technical Specialist for a long-term, permanent career opportunity focusing on our Vehicle Mounted Weapon Locating Radar system (WLR).

Join our expert team of Maintainer and Operator Technical Assistants in the Middle East as we develop and sustain our WLR systems.

In this role, you will serve as the core Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary technical point of contact for the Customer and EA-I technicians. You will oversee advanced platform integration, failure diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring mission readiness for this critical national security system.

Comprehensive onboarding training will be provided covering as appropriate radar techniques, and specific platform maintenance concepts down to the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level.

Core responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex faults in systems, subsystems, electronic circuits, and components down to the LRU level using technical publications, drawings, special tools and test equipment and standard measurement equipment .
• System Maintenance: Perform preventive and routine maintenance and checks to guarantee optimal performance, high system availability, safety compliance, and system longevity .
• Technical Documentation: Maintain highly accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inventory, generating detailed service reports

• End-User Support: Provide expert technical support to end-users, explaining complex operations and maintenance workflows in an accessible manner.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineers and fellow technicians to solve complex, systemic issues and optimize maintenance processes.
• Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary technical point of contact to the end customer and EA-I technician teams.
