With a strong emphasis on collaboration, professional development and employee wellbeing, they offer a welcoming workplace where individuals can thrive.

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Analyst to join a busy finance function on a 12-month fixed term contract. Working closely with the Tax Manager, you will play an important role in supporting UK and Irish tax compliance, with a particular emphasis on VAT. This varied position offers exposure to wider corporate tax activities, financial reporting and cross-functional projects.

Duties will include:

  • Coordinating VAT reporting activities across the UK and Ireland, maintaining robust processes and meeting statutory deadlines.
  • Acting as a point of contact for tax enquiries from internal departments and contributing to business-wide initiatives.
  • Analysing financial information and producing supporting schedules for corporation tax reporting, liabilities and provisions.
  • Liaising with colleagues and external advisers to ensure tax obligations are managed effectively and deadlines are achieved.
  • Assisting with R&D tax relief submissions, Senior Accounting Officer obligations and tax planning activities.
  • Contributing to financial reporting reviews and identifying opportunities to strengthen tax processes and controls.

About the Successful Applicant

You will have solid UK VAT compliance experience, strong analytical skills and a good understanding of corporation tax requirements. An ATT qualification, equivalent accreditation or progress towards one is essential. You will be organised, detail-oriented and confident communicating with stakeholders. Knowledge of Irish taxation, SAP, corporate tax software or R&D tax relief would be advantageous, alongside a degree or equivalent educational background.

What You Will Receive in Return

You will join a respected international organisation offering a collaborative and supportive working culture, with a strong commitment to employee development and wellbeing. This 12-month opportunity provides valuable exposure to a broad range of tax activities, the chance to work with experienced professionals and the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise within an established finance team.
