You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.The work model for the role is: Hybrid #Linkedin_HybridYou will be mainly accountable for:Development of new and legacy embedded software for ABB Excitation projects in C++Dealing with internal and external resourcesExecute full software development life cycle (SDLC)Working as a part of an agile software development teamSpecification, implementation, test and documentation of object-oriented real-time embedded softwareTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systemsCollaborate with product and other software development teamsComply with project plans and industry standardsEnsure software is updated with latest featureQualifications for the role:Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer, minimum 5 years in C/C++Knowhow in DevOps/CICD, Git, AzureTeam player and also able to work independently in a distributed, diverse collaboration environmentAbility to document requirements and specificationsAbility for fast learningBSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fieldFluent English, German as an assetMore about us:The Energy Industries Division serves a wide range of industrial sectors, including hydrocarbons,chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power generation and water.
