Support pupils with their learning and development across the school

Provide individual and small-group support where required

Assist with classroom organisation and preparation

Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment

Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits

Support pupils with their social and emotional development

Assist with behaviour management in line with school policies

Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Requirements - Supply Teaching Assistant, Aylesbury

The ideal Supply Teaching Assistant will have:

Previous experience working with children or young people

Experience within a school, nursery, childcare or education setting

A patient, caring and professional approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

A flexible and adaptable approach to supply work

Confidence supporting pupils with different learning needs
