Senior Client Accountant

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join our client's team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities for a diversified portfolio of local and international clients across different industries. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional corporate services environment, handling financial reporting, management accounts, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage client relationships independently. The role also involves supporting junior team members, ensuring accurate financial records, and delivering high-quality accounting services within agreed deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial and management accounting for a diversified portfolio of client companies.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Handle VAT returns, corporate income tax computations, and related compliance requirements.
• Train, mentor, and support junior accounting team members.
• Provide regular updates to management and ensure timely delivery of client assignments.

Key Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT compliance, and corporate taxation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high service standards.
