Senior Quantity Surveyor

As Senior Quantity Surveyor in Bristol, you will drive commercial delivery on a £100m, high-value construction scheme for a blue-chip client. You’ll manage procurement, subcontractor accounts and cost reporting, ensuring value and risk control on a fast-paced site. You collaborate with site teams to align commercial and operations, shaping project outcomes. • Oversee commercial duties on a major £100m scheme
• Prepare and manage subcontractor procurement packages
• Certify subcontractor interim payments and manage variations
• Lead cost reporting, CVR and cost forecasting
• Identify and manage commercial risk across the project
• Support Extension of Time, Loss and Expense, and contractual claims
• Maintain commercial control across subcontractor accounts
• Collaborate with site teams to align commercial and operational activities
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
• Proven track record on large-scale construction projects
• Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts from procurement to final account
• CVR, cost control and reporting proficiency
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Site-based project teamwork capability
• Degree/HNC/HND or relevant construction/commercial qualification (preferred)
