Project Manager – Microsoft 365 Backup & Restore

Mission Context and Objective: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our client to support a Project Director in evaluating Microsoft 365 data backup and recovery solutions. Several solutions have been shortlisted following a technology watch. The mission will involve evaluating these solutions through Proof of Concepts (POCs), preparing the selection process via a request for proposals (RFP), and then managing its development and deployment. The project also includes setting up a management dashboard for the Executive Committee and sponsors.MISSIONS: Managing POCs and Evaluating Solutions • Organize and manage the execution of the various POCs. • Actively participate in defining evaluation criteria. • Challenge the proposed backup/restore solutions. • Analyze the POC results. • Produce detailed, structured, and actionable reports. • Formulate analyses to inform governance decisions. • Promote the sponsors' objectives throughout the process.Managing the tender process • Prepare and coordinate the launch of the tender with the Project Director. • Contribute to formalizing needs and expectations. • Participate in analyzing responses and evaluating solutions/applications. • Produce a structured report on this phase.Construction & Deployment • Manage the construction and deployment of the selected solution. • Coordinate the various teams and stakeholders. • Monitor implementation work. • Ensure that data backup and recovery requirements are addressed. • Track risks, alerts, arbitration, and decisions. • Ensure adherence to quality, cost, and deadlines.Essential Skills • Microsoft Backup & Restore: Proficient – REQUIRED • Project Management: Proficient – REQUIRED • Analytical Skills: Proficient – REQUIRED • Fluent French – REQUIREDA concrete understanding of data backup and restoration issues in Microsoft 365 environments is expected.We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 Backup/Restore solutions and challenges. The consultant must be able to combine project management skills with strong technical analysis abilities: organizing Proofs of Concept (POCs), challenging solutions, defining evaluation criteria, analyzing results, and providing governance with concrete information to support decision-making. The client is particularly keen on a \"doer\" profile: this role is not simply about coordinating teams and producing reports. The candidate must be able to directly participate in the analysis and evaluation of solutions.
