Pay Rate: £20.27 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a busy social housing contract in Barnsley. This is a great opportunity for a skilled roofing professional to secure consistent work, with the possibility of a permanent position available following successful completion of the initial contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance works
• Completing repairs to roofing systems, including tiles and other roofing materials
• Installing and repairing flashing
• Carrying out fascia and soffit repairs and replacements
• Working professionally within occupied social housing properties
• Ensuring all work meets health and safety standards and customer expectations

Requirements

• NVQ in Roofing (essential)
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Previous experience within roofing repairs and maintenance
• Experience working on social housing contracts is desirable
• Strong knowledge of roofing repairs, flashing, fascia, and soffits
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
