Private Client Tax Manager – Bristol

In this role you will manage a high-quality portfolio of high-net-worth clients, delivering tax compliance and advisory services. You will work closely with Partners and Directors to support UK and international tax matters, including trusts and estates, with a focus on growth and client relationships. • Manage a portfolio of HNW individuals, private clients and trusts
• Prepare and review personal tax returns and complex tax computations
• Advise on Income Tax, CGT, IHT and wider private client tax matters
• Support clients with UK residence and international tax issues
• Advise on overseas income, gains and investments
• Assist with cross-border tax planning and double tax relief claims
• Support advice on trusts, estates and succession planning
• Prepare technical reports and written tax advice
• Deal directly with clients, HMRC and professional advisers
• Identify tax planning and advisory opportunities
• Review work and provide guidance to junior team members
• Build strong, long-term client relationships

• Strong experience in UK Private Client Tax in an accountancy or professional services environment
• Strong personal tax compliance and advisory experience
• Experience advising HNW individuals, families and business owners
• Good technical knowledge of IHT, CGT and trusts
• Experience with international or cross-border tax matters advantageous
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members
