Account Manager

As an Account Manager you will manage customer accounts within the edtech sector, helping the sales team maintain strong commercial relationships. You will keep account activity organised and ensure customers receive clear, timely support throughout their journey.

Description

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, maintaining clear records of contact, activity and agreed actions.

Build productive relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide a consistent point of contact.

Work closely with the Sales department to keep customer information accurate and account plans up to date.

Respond to customer queries promptly, providing clear updates and following through on agreed next steps.

Monitor account activity and identify opportunities to maintain customer engagement and retention.

Prepare account updates for internal discussions, helping colleagues make informed commercial decisions.

Coordinate customer requests with relevant internal teams to help deliver a smooth service.

Maintain organised sales documentation and customer records to support effective day-to-day account management.Profile

A successful 'Account Manager Mat' should have:

Experience managing customer accounts and maintaining accurate account information.

Experience of edtech or fintech sales.

The ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.

Experience working with sales activity, customer queries and commercial account updates.

Confidence in coordinating requests across internal teams and tracking actions to completion.

Clear written and verbal communication when dealing with customers and colleagues.Job Offer

Permanent Account Manager Mat position based in Exeter.

Salary of £45,000 to £55,000 dependent on the level of experience.

27 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
