Practice Accountant
Role Description & Overview
A well-established accountancy practice near Wokingham is seeking an experienced Practice Accountant to join their friendly team. This varied role supports both the accounts and tax departments, working with a portfolio of SME clients.
The salary for this role is up to £65,000 depending on experience. You will be fully officed based in the firms offices close to Wokingham.
Main responsibilities for the Practice Accountant role are:
- Accounts preparation (FRS 102 Section 1a & FRS 105)
- Corporation Tax computations & CT600s
- Personal Tax Returns & VAT Returns
- Advising clients on salary/dividends
- Reviewing junior staff work & acting as main client contact
Skills required the Practice Accountant role are:
- Qualified, part-qualified or QBE accountant
- number of years proven experience working in practice
- Strong software knowledge (IRIS, Sage, Xero, FreeAgent etc.)
- Excellent communication, organisation & attention to detail
