£40,000 basic salary + performance-related bonus + company car

Stourbridge | Full-time, permanent | 9am–5pm

Nationwide travel required

Elite People is recruiting an experienced Account Manager for a well-established national facilities management company based in Stourbridge.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of key client accounts, build lasting relationships and help develop further business within an existing portfolio. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure building services contracts run smoothly and customers receive a high standard of service.

If you enjoy getting out to meet clients, solving problems and spotting opportunities to grow accounts, this role offers variety and scope for long-term progression.

The role

• Manage key client accounts across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building fabric services.
• Build strong relationships with client contacts, acting as their main point of contact.
• Attend client meetings and visit sites across mainland UK to review works and service delivery.
• Work with operational teams to resolve issues and keep contracts running effectively.
• Identify opportunities for additional work with existing clients and support new client opportunities.
• Prepare regular updates on account performance, financial progress and operational activity.
• Lead or support quotations, costings, tenders and site surveys.

What we’re looking for

You’ll need previous Account Manager experience, a strong track record of client service and experience in sales or developing customer accounts.

You should be confident managing several accounts and stakeholders, handling competing priorities and working with different teams to deliver results. Strong communication, attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving are essential.

Facilities management, HVAC or building services knowledge would be an advantage, particularly experience quoting works or supporting costings, tenders and site surveys. Technical industry knowledge is welcomed but is not essential.

A full driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide are required.
