our client is a leading Tier 1 contractor who is searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the growing commercial team based in the West Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a major public sector (education) development (£100m+).

The Package:

• Basic salary of £65,000 - £75,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Work with the team to ensure projects are delivered to budget
• Procurement and managing sub-contract packages
• Dealing with variations and valuations
• Work closely with the supply chain

Requirements

• Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor
• Experience dealing with / managing final accounts
• Experience managing sub-contractor variations
• Industry related qualification

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor ranging from £10mm - £20m.
