Payroll Administrator

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a reputable business based in East Leeds who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team on a permanent basis. For this role, it is essential that you have experience in dealing with high volume payroll.

As a Payroll Administrator, your main duties and responsibilities include:

Input and process data for the four-weekly payroll within Sage.

Update employee changes including new starters, leavers, sickness, and maternity.

Perform manual calculations and produce the four-weekly payroll reports.

Apply statutory data from HMRC including tax codes and student loan variations.

Calculate and process third-party deductions such as attachment of earnings and child maintenance.

Manage workplace pension records and submit payments to the People's Pension by the deadline.

Reconcile and maintain accurate data across Sage Payroll, Cool Care, and pension systems.

Provide guidance on payroll queries to employees, care home managers, and company directors.
