Looking for a permanent finance role with a genuine three-day working week?

We're recruiting a Finance Assistant to join an established Finance team in Heston.

This is a hands-on role with a focus on employee expenses and Credit Control, ideal for someone with solid finance experience who enjoys taking ownership, investigating discrepancies and resolving queries.

What you'll be doing

Managing employee expenses and company credit card transactions, including checking receipts, coding and reconciliations.

Chasing missing documentation and approvals, investigating discrepancies and preparing expense reports.

Supporting Credit Control, including chasing overdue payments, reconciling customer accounts and allocating receipts.

Investigating invoice queries and processing corrections and credit notes.

Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider Finance team. What we're looking for

Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable or similar role.

Hands-on employee expenses experience, including company credit cards.

Some Credit Control or customer ledger experience.

Good accounting knowledge, Excel skills and attention to detail.

A confident communicator who can work independently and see queries through to resolution. AAT or equivalent experience would be advantageous.

The working pattern Wednesday–Friday | 9.00am–5.30pm | 22.5 hours per week
