Themaindutiesandresponsibilitiesare:

• SupportingtheNightAuditorManagerinbalancingtheday'srevenues,ensuringaccurateentryofratecodes,discounts,andotherfinancialdetailsinOpera,andprintnecessaryback-upreportsbeforethesystemclosesfortheday.
• Handlingvisitorsprofessionallyduringthenightshiftincoordinationwithsecurity,ensuringtheprivacyandsecurityofallguests
• RecordingmajorincidentsandimportantinformationintheDutyManager’slogbook
• EnsuringtheResort’screditpolicyisfollowed,conductingCreditCheckReports,andsigningoffonRebatesandPaid-Outswithproperjustification.
• Preparingdetailedreportsandend-of-daysummaries,whichincludedailyrevenue,occupancystatistics,guestactivity,andothercriticaldataformanagementreview.
• Closingoutthefinancialtransactionsfortheday,includingreconcilingguestaccounts,checking-inandchecking-outrecords,restaurantcharges,minibarusage,andallotherbilledservices.
• Ensuringthatallcharges(roomrates,incidentalcharges,etc.)areaccuratelypostedandrecorded.Anydiscrepanciesareresolvedbeforetheendoftheshift.
• Ensuringthehotel’ssafetyduringthenightshift.Thisincludesmonitoringsecuritysystems,overseeinghotelaccess,andalertingsecuritypersonnelaboutanyunusualactivities.
• Workingcloselywiththemorningshiftstafftoensureasmoothtransitionofinformation,andthatallnecessaryupdatesarepassedalongtothedayshiftteam.
