This is far more than a traditional management accounting position. Alongside ownership of core financial reporting activities, you'll play a key role in analysing project performance, supporting operational decision-making and providing meaningful financial insight to stakeholders across the business.

The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities will include:

Production of monthly management accounts and supporting commentary

Analysis of project and business performance, profitability and margins

Preparation of accruals, prepayments and month-end journals

Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls

Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes

Monitoring project costs, performance and financial outcomes

Providing commercial analysis and decision support to operational stakeholders

Supporting year-end audit requirements

Driving process improvements and finance best-practice initiatives

Delivering meaningful insight to support strategic business decisions

About You We are keen to speak with finance professionals who are

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or an outstanding qualified-by-experience finance professional with relevant project and commercial accounting experience

Experienced within Management Accounting, Project Accounting or Commercial Finance

Commercially minded and naturally curious

Comfortable working closely with operational and non-finance stakeholders

Strong analytical thinkers with excellent attention to detail

Proactive, ambitious and keen to develop their career within a growing and progressive organisationWhat's on Offer?
