Cost Manager / Senior Cost Manager

In this role you drive cost management for real estate projects across healthcare, education and infrastructure, working with a Bristol-based UK South team. You will manage cost planning, procurement strategy and contract administration from design through completion, aligning with client objectives and delivering commercial performance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, shaping cost outcomes on diverse projects. • Lead cost planning and prepare indicative budgets and appraisals
• Advise on procurement strategy and prepare tender documents
• Manage selection and performance of contractors; govern commercial/contractual aspects
• Involved in pre and post-contract quantity surveying
• Support client accounts and stakeholder management
• Contribute to overall project cost control from design to handover
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align project costs with client goals
• Participate in mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team

• Proven technical delivery experience in cost management
• Experience managing own projects within related sectors
• Previous cost manager experience in a consultancy environment
• Client-facing with high-quality technical delivery
• Stakeholder management with focus on developing client accounts
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline
• MRICS or working toward MRICS
