Senior interior designer

Lambs and Lions is seeking an experienced senior interior designer to join its team in Berlin.

The role focuses on high-end hospitality projects worldwide, working across hotels, resorts, restaurants and other destination-led projects. We are looking for a strong designer with confident aesthetic judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a creative team from concept through detailed design and implementation.

Experience in high-end hospitality interior design is essential.

Responsibilities:

• lead the design development of high-end hospitality and residential projects worldwide
• develop and guide spatial concepts, layouts, material palettes and interior details from concept through detailed design
• provide clear creative and aesthetic direction to the project team
• lead and coordinate a creative team while maintaining a consistently high design standard
• coordinate architects, consultants and specialist partners to deliver coherent and fully resolved design packages
• work closely with our Product Design and FF&E team to integrate furniture, lighting and bespoke elements into the overall interior concept
• oversee technical drawings, detailing and documentation through project delivery
• communicate and present design concepts clearly and confidently to clients and project partners

Requirements:

• degree in interior architecture, interior design, architecture or a related field
• minimum seven years’ of professional experience, including experience in a senior or project-leading role
• strong portfolio in high-end hospitality and residential design
• excellent design sensibility, spatial thinking and aesthetic judgement
• strong creative leadership, communication and presentation skills
• excellent technical drawing and detailing skills
• strong knowledge and sensibility for materials, craftsmanship and construction
• a clear understanding of Lambs and Lions’ projects and design approach
• proficiency in ArchiCAD, Rhino and/or SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite
• fluent in English, German is a plus but not required

The position is based in Berlin, within an international and collaborative studio working on projects worldwide.
