Class 2 (HGV) Driver – Day Shifts

Location: Erith, South East London

Pay: £17.50 per hour PAYE / £21.00 per hour Umbrella

Shifts: Day shifts, with start times between 5:00 am and 8:00 am

Hours: Minimum 8 hours per day

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Strive Staffing Solutions are recruiting reliable Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a multidrop delivery role based in Erith.

The position involves making multiple deliveries throughout the day, so we are looking for drivers who are confident on the road, organised and comfortable working to delivery schedules.

The role can be physically demanding and involves handling goods, so a hands-on approach and a positive attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out multidrop deliveries safely and efficiently.

Loading and unloading goods as required.

Following delivery schedules and completing relevant paperwork.

Providing professional customer service at delivery locations.

Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.

Comfortable with multidrop deliveries and physical work.

Reliable, punctual and professional.

Good communication skills and a safety-conscious approach.

What’s on Offer?
