Planning Engineer

In this role you will develop and maintain complex MEH installation schedules for a major infrastructure programme, providing leadership across multiple stakeholders and delivery partners. You will coordinate interfaces between contractors, disciplines, and stakeholders within an integrated project team, applying EPC planning methods in a regulated environment. The position is on-site four days a week at Hinkley Point C with one remote day, demanding autonomous, proactive planning leadership from day one.

• Develop and maintain complex schedules for major MEH installation activities
• Coordinate interfaces between contractors, disciplines and stakeholders for efficient delivery
• Provide programme leadership across multiple partners within an integrated project team
• Apply integrated planning frameworks and EPC delivery concepts in a large-scale programme
• Identify and drive solutions to issues in a demanding project environment
• Operate autonomously and influence project teams without constant direction

• Extensive experience on major engineering, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, or nuclear projects
• Proven experience planning mechanical and electrical installation scopes
• Strong knowledge of major mechanical works (pipework, erection, construction and commissioning)
• Experience coordinating multiple interfaces and stakeholders
• Knowledge of EPC delivery models in the UK
• Experience applying integrated planning frameworks on large programmes
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Synchro for 4D planning and scheduling
