Fire & Security Engineer – 4-Day Week
Worthing | £45,000 Basic Salary | Optional Overtime | South Coast
£45,000 basic salary, a four-day working week and the option to earn more through overtime.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking for a better work-life balance without compromising on earnings.
You'll work across commercial sites along the South Coast, from Brighton to Southampton, carrying out servicing, fault-finding, repairs and small works across a range of fire and security systems.
With a company vehicle, paid travel time and ongoing manufacturer training, this role offers an attractive package within an established business.
The Role
Service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and complete small works.
Undertake planned maintenance and reactive call-outs.
Work across commercial sites throughout the South Coast, from Brighton to Southampton.
Carry out commissioning where required, depending on experience.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Salary & Benefits
£45,000 basic salary
Four-day working week on a full-time salary
Friday work available at overtime rates.
Plenty of optional overtime to increase earnings.
1 in 8 call-out rota, approximately six weeks per year.
One-way travel time paid.

Requirements
Experience servicing and fault-finding on fire and security systems.
Knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarms.
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
Commissioning experience beneficial but not essential.
Full UK driving licence.
