Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller,

you will play a key role in maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring high-quality financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment.Key responsibilities will include

Leading and coordinating statutory audits across multiple entities.

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.

Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisers and overseas accounting teams.

Taking ownership of VAT reporting and supporting wider tax compliance activities.

Reviewing accounting records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Supporting the delivery of consolidated and group reporting

requirements.

Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting quality.

Acting as a trusted finance contact for both internal and external stakeholders.What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role,

you will be a technically strong and proactive finance professional with the confidence to operate independently and manage competing priorities.

You will ideally have:

ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.

Strong technical accounting knowledge.

Experience preparing and/or reviewing statutory accounts.

Audit experience, either gained in practice or industry.

Knowledge of VAT and corporation tax.

Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.

The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of key deliverables.What you need to do now
