Financial Accountant

I’m recruiting a Qualified Accountant to join the finance team of a growing organisation in the healthcare sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong financial reporting and analytical skills to join a busy finance function and contribute to its ongoing development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts using a group consolidation system.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and funding renewal processes.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including liaising with group auditors.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience.
• Experience in financial reporting and management accounts.
• Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Leadership experience, including supporting or reviewing the work of others.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment.
• Experience working in a multi-entity organisation or group finance function.
• Exposure to consolidation systems such as HFM.
