finance manager for internet interconnection platforms

AMS-IX operates interconnection platforms in Amsterdam and worldwide that play a crucial role in the internet and form one of the world’s largest internet traffic hubs. The company is developing new products and services to build on its established position.

Задачи:

• Maintain the quality of financial administration, coordinate the monthly close, and provide reliable financial reporting to the CFO
• Lead the finance team, allocate responsibilities, coach colleagues, and foster effective collaboration
• Develop and optimize processes and procedures, including the implementation of Exact Online, automation, and more efficient ways of working
• Support the CFO with financial matters, analyses, and decision-making, and collaborate with organizational stakeholders
• Ensure the quality and continuity of the finance function while remaining hands‑on with figures, systems, and operational matters
• Review and improve processes and procedures to ensure they are properly designed and embedded
• Oversee financial control and reporting, maintain sound financial foundations, and work closely with the Business Controller
• Develop Finance so it increasingly supports the organization’s continued development

Требования:

• Master’s degree in Finance, (Business) Economics, or Accountancy
• More than 5 years of experience as a (Financial) Controller, Finance Manager, or in accountancy
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes, including Dutch GAAP, and business acumen
• Strong affinity with IT and financial tools, and excellent Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
• Able to build working relationships and credibility quickly, communicate clearly and concisely, and take a practical, no‑nonsense approach
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and willing to improve finance‑related procedures and processes
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a broad formal and informal network
• Honest, committed, results‑oriented team player with a collaborative approach
