We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school on a full-time basis to cover a period of maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher to inspire students, deliver engaging lessons and help young people develop their creativity, practical skills and confidence in a supportive learning environment.

The Role

Deliver engaging and effective Food Technology and/or Design & Technology lessons across the secondary age range.

Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Support students in developing their practical skills, creativity and subject knowledge.

Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom behaviour.

Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Has experience teaching Food Technology and/or Design & Technology at secondary level.

Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.

Is passionate about engaging students and supporting their academic and personal development.

Can work effectively as part of a supportive school team.

Is committed to maintaining high standards and delivering excellent learning experiences.
