Customer Service Advisor - 12 month contract

Salary: £14.56 per hour

Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week

Start Date: November 2026

Working Pattern: Office-based during training, then hybrid working available

We're recruiting for Inbound Customer Service Advisors to join a well-established banking organisation in Swindon.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Following a comprehensive training programme, you'll have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, combining office and home working.

The Role

As an Inbound Customer Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, handling a variety of everyday banking enquiries. You'll provide a professional and helpful service while ensuring customer needs are resolved efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound customer calls regarding general banking enquiries
• Assisting with account-related questions and updates
• Supporting customers with online and mobile banking queries
• Providing information on products and services
• Resolving customer issues at first point of contact where possible
• Accurately updating customer records and systems
• Delivering excellent customer service while adhering to company procedures and regulatory

requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service experience, ideally within a contact centre, retail, hospitality, or office environment
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfortable using multiple systems and technology
• Ability to remain professional and empathetic when dealing with customer enquiries
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
