Interim Financial Controller - urgent requirement

International technology group | Five legal entities | NetSuite | Reporting to the CFO

The opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing international group with around 500 employees. They are looking for a Financial Controller to own the finance operation across five legal entities in the US, Canada, Belgium, France and the UK.

What you'll do

• Lead the month-end, and year-end close across all five entities, delivering accurate reporting to deadline
• Own the year-end process , including statutory reporting, audit coordination and tax and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions
• Act as the go-between for the finance team and the CFO , owning communication, priorities and escalation
• Oversee billing, AR, AP, general ledger, revenue recognition and cost accounting, all run on NetSuite
• Apply the client's group accounting policies and IFRS (including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16)
• Produce monthly and quarterly reporting with variance analysis and business performance reviews
• Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting, payroll review, and reporting to parent entitiesAnalyse working capital, profitability and EBITDA, and partner with business leaders on decisions

What you'll bring

• A professional accounting qualification (ideally ACA)
• Strong IFRS knowledge, with IFRS 15 and 16 experience
• Proven experience running financial close in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
• NetSuite experience
• Strong technical accountant
• Strong analytical and modelling skills, with attention to detail
• Confident stakeholder management with the CFO and other members of the SLT across functions and time zones
