Contracts Manager | West Yorkshire | £70k - £80k + Car / Allowance + Package

Looking for a Contracts Manager role where you'll have the autonomy to run your own projects, manage your site teams and play a key role in the delivery of a varied workload?

We're recruiting for an established regional main contractor looking to strengthen their operational team with an experienced Contracts Manager.

With a strong presence across Yorkshire and the surrounding region, the business delivers a mix of new build and refurbishment projects across multiplesectorson schemes up to £10m.

The Role;

• Take responsibility for multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
• Manage and support Site Managers and project delivery teams across several sites
• Oversee programmes, resources, quality and health & safety
• Work closely with commercial teams to monitor costs, procurement and project performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Monitor progress across live projects, identifying risks and resolving issues before they affect delivery
• Attend client meetings and provide regular updates on programme and project performance
• Ensure projects are properly resourced and delivered to the required standards

What We're Looking For;

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager with a main contractor
• Strong background in general building, including new build and refurbishment projects
• Comfortable overseeing multiple projects at any one time
• Experience across sectors such as industrial, leisure, healthcare or education would be advantageous
• Confident managing Site Managers, subcontractors and project teams
• Good understanding of construction programmes, commercial management and contractual requirements
• Strong communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving
