Duration: Until end of September ****, with possibility to extendLocation: Fully remote (European Union)About the projectRemobi is partnering with a global energy technology leader on a high-visibility initiative to build live data applications for one of its European manufacturing sites.
Cameras on the factory floor detect objects, and the applications must process this unstructured video and image data and respond instantly.
The first release is due within 3–4 months, with the longer-term aim of scaling the solution to other sites.The roleYou will own the product from discovery to delivery, turning high-level ambitions into clear requirements and a roadmap.
Factory environments are complex and fast-moving, with strong personalities and many stakeholders, so communication and judgement matter as much as process.Key responsibilitiesLead planning and delivery of data PoCs and projects, aligned with business goalsCapture detailed requirements from factory, business and technical stakeholders, staying grounded in what users needBuild and maintain the roadmap; run backlog refinement and support sprint planningPrioritise demand by business impact, resources and strategic fitBuild business cases and secure stakeholder commitment to value assumptionsTrack progress, manage risks and communicate status clearly and honestlyWork with the Solution Architect, data engineers and data scientists to set achievable delivery commitmentsRequired skills and experienceProven Product Manager experience on data or data science productsStrong grasp of data science concepts, methodologies and toolsOutstanding communication; comfortable handling senior and strong-minded stakeholdersWorks autonomously in ambiguous, complex environmentsAgile delivery experience and tools such as JiraAmbitious but honest about what can be delivered and what is still unknownNice to haveHands-on data science skills; experience with low-latency, computer vision or manufacturing/industrial products.ProcessTwo-stage interview process, with a quick turnaround to meet the November start.
