• Become the team’s go-to on digital assets and help grow the crypto audit practice. You’ll be front and centre from day one

• You’ll work hand in hand with the FS Audit Directors on your engagements. You learn how they think through the tricky technical calls, and they’re the ones who see your work when promotion time comes

• Running crypto and digital asset audits from planning and fieldwork through to completion, under IFRS and FRS 102
• Testing the existence, ownership and valuation of digital asset balances, including wallet confirmations and reconciling trades and holdings back to the ledger
• Identifying the key audit risks and working with IT audit specialists on custody and private key controls
• Reviewing draft financial statements and disclosures, and taking your findings to the Senior Manager and Directors
• Supervising associates, reviewing their work and helping them build crypto know-how

• ACA, ACCA, CA or CPA qualified
• 4+ years external audit experience with a Big Four/Top 10 firm
• Hands-on audit experience with crypto or blockchain clients (or Irish Asset Management/Funds)
• Curious about how the technology works, and you dig into a new token or exchange until you understand it
• Confident with clients, and able to explain a tricky crypto balance to a finance team in plain English
