Audit Assistant Manager – Dublin City Centre

GPC Finance has partnered with a large firm in Dublin City Centre, who are looking to hire anAudit & Accounts Assistant Manager. This exciting opportunity offers progression, challenging projects, and learning and development. Our client’s portfolio covers a wide industry base across a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the management and development of a portfolio of clients as well as providing assistance and support to others within the firm.
• Consulting with colleagues and Partners on technical and risk matters.
• Help ensure that both the firm’s quality control procedures and professional standards are met.
• Providing an efficient and pro-active service to clients.
• Participating in tenders/proposals for new work as required.
• Developing work from existing clients and participate in wider marketing and business development.

Requirements:

• An accountancy qualification ACA/ACCA or equivalent (newly qualified or part qualified candidates will be considered).
• Min 2 years in an Irish Practice.
• Attention to detail.
• Confidence with clients.
• You will have strong technical knowledge, e.g., UK GAAP, FRS102 and IFRS.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams.
• Ability to handle numerous simultaneous assignments.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
