Audit & Accounts Senior

TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join a relaxed, independent firm of accountants based in Tunbridge Wells.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you’ll primarily focus on accounts and tax work for owner managed businesses, with audit making up no more than 25% of your workload. This could suit someone who enjoys a mix of work and wants to maintain their audit experience alongside a broader accounts and tax role.

Responsibilities

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing year end accounts for owner managed businesses.

Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting clients with tax compliance.

Undertaking bookkeeping and VAT work where required.

Supporting the planning and completion of audit assignments, representing up to 25% of your workload.

Managing client relationships and responding to accounts and tax queries.

Working closely with colleagues to manage deadlines and deliver an excellent service.

Requirements

To be considered for this Audit & Accounts Senior opportunity, you’ll have:

Previous experience within an accountancy practice across accounts, tax and audit.

A strong understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance for owner managed businesses.

The ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines.

Confidence communicating with clients and building lasting relationships.

A friendly, collaborative approach.

Benefits

£45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience.

Full time or part time working options.

25 days holiday.
