Accounts Payable Assistant

Accounts Payable Associate role within a busy Finance team, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of AP transactions, alongside supporting payroll, tax and accounts production. 11-month fixed term contract.

Your Responsibilities:

• Managing the end to end accounts payable process from vendor setup through to payment
• Processing invoices and purchase orders
• Reconciling supplier statements and aged creditor balances
• Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Supporting the accounts payable month end close
• Managing the finance inbox and responding to internal and external stakeholders
• Providing general support to the wider Finance function and assisting with ad hoc duties

Your Requirements:

• Third level qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
• 1+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role, with end to end AP knowledge preferred
• Strong understanding of General Ledger and Accounts Payable systems, with experience using ERP systems an advantage
• Experience working with online banking platforms and financial reporting tools
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Access
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of financial data
