Accounts Assistant

Are you an Accounts Assistant with AAT Level 4 (or nearly there) looking for a role where you’re genuinely supported to grow? Join a friendly, collaborative team in Diss and put your AAT Level 4 skills to work across a varied client base.

The Role

Prepare accounts and corporation tax returns for limited companies

Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships

Assist with personal, business and accurate financial record‑keeping

Prepare VAT returns and help clients with digital record‑keeping

Communicate with clients, gather information and respond to queries

Maintain high‑quality working papers and files

Use cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and CCH

Support colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of the office

About You

AAT Level 4 qualified or close to completion

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

Confident with cloud accounting software and Excel

Clear communicator who enjoys working with clients

Organised, proactive and eager to keep developing
