Discover the Role

The Accountant will support the Accounting team in delivering quality and timely services to the assigned client portfolio. The role performs a variety of routine accounting activities under close supervision, with a particular focus on bookkeeping activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical accounting support and administrative duties, such as entering sales and creditor invoices and processing bank transactions;
• Manage capital assets and accounts payable and receivable;
• Prepare primary accounting documents, if required;
• Maintain accounting files and records;
• Check account balances on a monthly basis and support the preparation of account analyses, if requested;
• Ensure accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the accounting system;
• Draft letters and emails to clients concerning accounting or administrative issues and submit them for review and approval by the Accounting Supervisor;
• Prepare routine correspondence and/or mailings.

Key Requirements

• English (working knowledge);
• Knowledge of the Profis system is considered an advantage;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook);
• High School Diploma and/or Degree in Economics;
• Up to 2 years of experience in similar organizations;
• Works in compliance with TMF procedures and related standards of work;
• Good client service skills;
• Responsible and organized;
• Good communication skills.
