Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting – IFRS

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting to join its team in Frankfurt. This is an excellent opportunity for an IFRS accounting specialist to oversee complex accounting and financial reporting activities, support client requirements and collaborate with international teams.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee IFRS accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including reviewing accounting entries, financial statements and reconciliations.
• Strengthen accounting controls, investigate discrepancies and work closely with clients, auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical accounting matters.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Have several years of relevant experience in IFRS accounting, financial reporting or fund accounting within financial services or a comparable environment.
• Possess a strong understanding of IFRS standards, accounting principles, financial statement preparation, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Hold a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline, with fluency in German and English. A professional accounting qualification and experience with SAP, Eagle or similar accounting platforms would be advantageous.
