Role Description MIG & Stick welding on heavy engineering components and fabrications Welding mild steel and heavy-gauge materials to a consistently high standard Fabrication, repair and refurbishment of heavy industrial components Reading and working accurately from engineering drawings and specifications Preparing materials, including grinding, cutting, dressing and finishing welds Adhering to Health & Safety procedures on site at all times Working within a skilled engineering and fabrication team Inspecting completed welds and ensuring work meets required quality standards Skills and Qualifications Time-Served Welder/Fabricator with strong MIG & Stick welding experience Proven background working within Heavy Engineering, Manufacturing or Industrial environments Confident welding heavy-gauge mild steel and large fabricated components Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications Motivated team player with a proven ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced heavy engineering environment Company Information As a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
