Based in Skelmersdale, this Assembly Operative role suits someone with production experience who takes pride in precise work. Joining Pertemps Warrington on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis, the successful candidate will assemble bespoke items to customer specification at their own workstation.

Pay rate

£13.76 per hour, increasing to £14.56 per hour after 12 weeks.

Hours

Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 17:15 (37 hours paid).

Contract

Temporary to Permanent.

Responsibilities

• Assembling small to medium size components.
• Trimming, buffing, and polishing small parts.
• Assembling components using nuts, bolts, or glue, with the use of light-duty hand tools.
• Packing materials.
• Identifying and troubleshooting problems during the assembly process and reporting them to supervisors.

Skills and Experience

• Previous assembly or production experience.
• Ability to use small hand tools.
• Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
