Director, Credit & Restructuring Tax

As a Director in Deloitte’s Credit & Restructuring Tax team, you will manage a portfolio of high-profile clients and lead cross-border, bespoke tax advice on credit and restructuring transactions. You will work closely with partners and multinational teams to drive business development and knowledge sharing, while mentoring junior members. The role blends client relationship leadership with strategic tax planning to support growth and recoveries across markets. • Advise on a broad range of tax issues across transactions and situations
• Manage relationships with clients, team members, and wider Deloitte network
• Lead diverse teams across Deloitte member firms and foster inclusive collaboration
• Enhance the team’s eminence through knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and client development
• Support professional development of junior team members and contribute to growth initiatives

• Experience/knowledge of private equity, credit, or real estate funds and their negotiation/investment strategies
• Strong understanding of tax law with attention to detail
• ACA or ATT/CTA or equivalent qualification or legal background (preferably)
• Ability to build strong client relationships and communicate complex ideas commercially
• Team player with ownership, initiative, resilience under pressure, and adaptability to change
