Role Description & Overview

Do you enjoy turning customer ideas into concrete solutions? Do you also have an eye for detail and understand how accurate product data keeps a business running smoothly?

At Pack Tech, we are looking for a structured and curious colleague who enjoys both customer collaboration and working with data. Your role will be split approximately equally between customer project management and hands-on ownership of our product and vendor master data.

About Pack Tech

Pack Tech A/S is a global packaging company with roots dating back to 1946. We develop and supply packaging solutions for the beauty and personal care industry, as well as home, garden and industrial applications.

With colleagues and partners around the world, we help customers turn their ideas into packaging tailored to their needs. Through our Ocean Waste Plastic concept, we collect plastic from oceans and rivers in Indonesia and incorporate it into packaging.

Your role

Based at our headquarters in Hellerup and reporting directly to our COO, you will work closely with our sales managers, customer project management team and colleagues across purchasing, order management and finance.

Approximately half of your time will focus on managing customer projects together with our sales managers, from the initial inquiry through product development and delivery.

The other half will focus on creating and maintaining accurate, complete master data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Our products are made to order and highly customisable, so each item needs the right information to support purchasing, ordering, invoicing, customs clearance and customer reporting.

This is a hands-on role with room to suggest and implement improvements to how we work.

Your responsibilities

Customer project management: approximately 50%

  • Manage customer projects from initial inquiry to final product in close collaboration with our sales managers.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers and our international offices to clarify requirements and move projects forward.
  • Coordinate quotations, samples, product specifications and production follow-up.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations based on customer needs.
  • Keep track of project timelines, details and outstanding actions, ensuring clear communication throughout.

Master data ownership: approximately 50%

  • Create and maintain sellable items in Business Central, ensuring data is accurate, complete and up to date.
  • Maintain product, material and component specifications, including information needed for CO₂ calculations and customers’ governance reporting.
  • Record customer item references, special requirements, packaging details and weights.
  • Maintain sales and purchase unit prices.
  • Deactivate outdated items and create replacement items when artwork or other specifications change.
  • Keep item templates up to date and create new vendor records.
  • Work with purchasing, order management and finance to ensure the data supports their daily work.
  • Identify and suggest improvements that make item creation and data maintenance more efficient and reliable.
  • Help keep our PIM system updated with correct information together with the other customer project managers.

What you bring

Experience working in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential. Experience with PIM systems is an advantage.

Ideally, you have worked with both customer project management and master data. However, we are also open to a strong customer project manager who brings excellent attention to detail, an aptitude for systems and a willingness to develop further in master data management.

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy both customer interaction and detailed, structured work.
  • Take responsibility for following tasks through and getting the details right.
  • Can manage several projects and priorities in a busy international environment.
  • Communicate clearly and work well across teams.
  • Ask questions when information is missing and follow up to resolve it.
  • Look for practical ways to improve processes and workflows.
  • Speak and write English confidently.

What we offer

You will join an international packaging business where your work directly supports both our customers and our daily operations. The role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to develop your skills across customer projects, products and business processes.

Working closely with our COO and colleagues across the business, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and help improve the way we work as Pack Tech continues to grow.

This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Hellerup.
