Role Description & Overview
I’m recruiting a Financial Controller for a globally known engineering and automation business in Coventry. Following a planned restructure of their UK&I business, they’re introducing a Financial Controller reporting to a broader Head of Finance & Administration. This role offers a team of five to lead, ownership of day-to-day finance, and a newly created position you can help shape.
Having met the team, the role's appeal is its breadth. You’ll be close to engineering projects and product sales, understand where the money is coming from, challenge forecasts, and help the senior team make better decisions. You’ll also own the fundamentals: reporting, cash, controls, and audit.

- Based in Coventry
- Start date: ASAP
- Salary range: £55K - £65K + bonus + benefits.
I’d like to speak with hands-on finance leaders from manufacturing or engineering who want this level of ownership. You might already be a Financial Controller, or be ready to take on a broader remit.
