Role Description & Overview
North London - This small successful £2m family-run business in North London is seeking a sole-charge hands-on Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Company Accountant.
Reporting to the MD / Owner, the Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Company Accountant role will be responsible for all day to day and monthly accounting including:
Monthly management accounting
Daily bookkeeping on Sage Line 50
Month-end procedures and reconciliations
Project accounting
Bank reconciliations and cash flow management
Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
Processing purchase ledger invoices
Raising sales ledger invoices, credit control, monitoring aged debtors
Supplier statement reconciliations and payments runs
Inter-company reconciliations
VAT and CIS returns
Year-end preparation for external accountants
Ad hoc responsibilities for the MD / Owner
This is a hands-on Finance Manager / Company Accountant / Financial Controller role that needs an experienced accountant looking for a long-term local opportunity in North London - at a friendly family-run business
