Credit Controller

Our client, a franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple sites nationwide, is seeking a Credit Controller for its busy head office in Westbury. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.

As a Credit Controller, manage customer accounts and credit limits in line with company policy.

Monitor, review and actively pursue aged debt.

Contact customers professionally to secure payment and resolve queries.

Allocate incoming cash accurately and complete regular account reconciliations.

Prioritise high-risk and overdue debts to minimise financial exposure.

Liaise with internal departments to resolve billing and account discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.

Work closely with the Head Office Accounts Manager and a friendly accounts and administration team.

Requirements

The successful Credit Controller will have a strong understanding of credit control and accounts receivable.

High accuracy when reviewing financial information and excellent attention to detail.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

A confident, professional and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Previous automotive or commercial vehicle experience, or a relevant accountancy qualification, would be beneficial but is not essential.
