Prince Personnel are working with a growing business, based in Telford, who are looking for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Director, this will be a varied, hands-on role, responsible for the day-to-day management of finance. There will be one direct report into this role.

You will be responsible for:

• Accurate and timely monthly reporting of financials and KPIs.
• Cleanly maintained General Ledger.
• Reconciliation of all key supplier invoices to system/circuit data.
• Effective cash flow and working capital management.
• Supporting the FD to achieve improved profitability through financial analysis and cost control.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Oversee and participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop, monitor and improve financial controls, policies and procedures.
• Prepare/Submit weekly payment runs for approval by FD to ensure suppliers are paid on time.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Cash Flow and Treasury.
• Compliance & Audit.
• Manage VAT, PSA and other tax submissions with support from FD/external advisers as required.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be qualified/part-qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent). The successful candidate will need to have experience of working in a similar role. You will need strong MS Excel and financial systems knowledge (ERP). Experience of new system implementation would be an advantage but not essential.
