Your responsibilities as Finance Administrator

Managing the daily administration of commercial property loans, keeping financial records accurate and up to date.

Calculating interest, fees and payment amounts, preparing statements and invoices for clients and lenders.

Processing payments, monitoring bank accounts and maintaining accurate reconciliation records.

Updating loan management systems, spreadsheets and databases, including interest rates and key payment dates.

Preparing billing notices, remittance reports and other financial documentation, including some overseas transactions.

Liaising with colleagues, clients and lenders to resolve queries and ensure financial information is accurate and complete.

What we're looking for in a Finance Administrator

Experience in general accounts, purchase ledger, accounts administration or another role involving detailed financial information and calculations.

Strong numeracy skills and experience working accurately with figures, financial records and payment information.

Good general Excel skills.

Experience maintaining accurate records, checking calculations and identifying discrepancies.

Previous experience in loans, mortgages, banking, pensions or insurance would be useful but is absolutely not essential.

Previous commercial lending experience isn't required. If you've worked in an accounts or purchase ledger position and enjoy the accuracy, calculations and administration involved, you'll have a good foundation for learning this role.

Due to the office location near the M61, having your own transport would be advantageous.
